The Knoxville chapter of Freedom for Youth is holding a Christmas cookie walk on Friday.

This event is a fundraiser for the organization, where the community can come into the Knoxville Freedom for Youth center and choose from a large variety of different cookies to make up a dozen. The cookies will be baked ahead of time by community members. Knoxville Freedom for Youth Community Development Coordinator Angie Gentry says this an opportunity to get a great start on some holiday sweets.

“Adults will make the cookies and the students get sales experience by selling them. You can mix and match for $18 a dozen and get a great start for your holiday goodies.”

The Knoxville Freedom for Youth Christmas cookie walk will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday.
