Pleasantville junior girls basketball player Joelle Johnson is leading Class 2A in total points so far this season.
After a 20 point performance Tuesday night against Madrid, Johnson has now scored 130 points so far through five games to start the 2023-2024 season. As of Wednesday, that leads all of Class 2A by a 12 point margin. On November 28th against Melcher-Dallas, Johnson scored 38 points, which broke the Pleasantville school record for most points in a game for the girls team. Johnson and the Trojans girls are 3-2 on the season and will be back in action on Friday on the road at Van Meter.
