The Simpson College men’s and women’s gymnastics teams start their season Saturday facing familiar opponents, an intra-squad scrimmage. The Storm men sent three athletes to the NCAA Championships last season, and begin their inaugural season competing in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), while the women have officially joined the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as an affiliate member, but will have to wait until next year for conference competition. The intra-squad scrimmage takes place Saturday at 2pm in the Cowles Fieldhouse on the Simpson College campus.
