The Pella girls basketball team found a win over a ranked foe on the road away from the Little Hawkeye Conference, knocking off #12 in 4A Carlisle Thursday 73-61. Pella took control of a back-and-forth first three quarters and outscored the Wildcats by ten in the final eight minutes to earn the victory.

Head Coach Blaine Forsythe:
“I am proud of the execution offensively and defensively tonight from our players. We played more zone than we typically do and I thought we did a great job of making in-game adjustments. Kennedy had a huge night for us. She gave us a huge spark in all phases of the game. I can’t say enough about our coaches and players, they did a great job preparing for the game and we were able to finish it out down the stretch.”
