The Indianola School Board reviewed the timeline of the Superintendent search process after the retirement of current Superintendent Ted Ihns at the end of the school year.
Ihns tells KNIA News the board discussed a rough timeline, which includes reviewing the applications on January 15th and determining the finalists. Interviews with candidates will continue through early February, and the board will then call a special meeting to announce the hire. Ihns also said the board held a long discussion regarding the process of being able to review applications as they come in, and what they are looking for in a new superintendent.
