Marion County Bank’s halftime entertainment at the Knoxville basketball game on Friday night earned the Knoxville Community School District a $3,075 donation from Marion County Bank.
Eight students from Knoxville High School took part in the event by shooting layups, free throws, three pointers, and half court shots to earn a donation from Marion County Bank. The event even included one made half court basket for $1,000. All donations will be put towards the school’s Student Activity Fund.
Over the last three years, Marion County Bank’s halftime event has earned $9,100 for the Knoxville Community Schools’ Activity Fund. Marion County Bank thanks all the students for participating in the halftime event and looks forward to bringing the event back next year.
