The Indianola girls basketball team continues their gauntlet of a schedule today, hosting #4 in class 4A North Polk. The Indians are off to a 2-4 start this season, falling to class 5A opponents Urbandale, Southeast Polk, Des Moines Roosevelt, and Ankeny, while defeating Newton and Oskaloosa. The Comets come in at 5-1, only dropping a game to #1 Dallas Center-Grimes, and are averaging a winning margin of 31 points.

Indians head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports yes this stretch is tough where they will play some of the best teams in the state, but the goal is to play harder than any of them and come out better at the end of this tough run.
