The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads may be playing more often than some NBA teams these days. One Friday’s games are over; the Saints will have played seven nights in the last 11 days. The girls have managed well going 4-1 in the current stretch of games. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports she has to be mindful of just how much to go in practice so the players have enough to play tonight at Seymour.

Goff: “Whether we have practice or not, just rest and get some rest when you can. When we are at practice we need to get enough so when we do have to adjust we use that time and not wear them out.”

Tonight’s doubleheader begins at 6:00 against Seymour. The Saints also have games tomorrow scheduled for Southeast Warren High School.
