The Pella Christian girls basketball team will try to pick up their third win of the season tonight, as they make the trip to Albia for a non-conference game against the Lady Dees.

After getting their second victory against Van Meter 46-42 last Thursday, the Eagles are looking to erase the taste of their 62-29 loss to Norwalk on Friday. The Lady Dees have struggled in the earlier part of the season, dropping all five contests they’ve competed in. Dating back to 2006, Pella Christian has dominated the matchup against Albia, winning all 12 meetings in the Bound era. The Eagles defeated the Lady Dees 41-29 a year ago, using a strong defensive effort to force 22 turnovers in the win.

Tip-off for the Pella Christian girls basketball game at Albia High School tonight is slated for 7:30 pm.
