The PCM boys and girls basketball teams will be hosting the Roland-Story Norseman tonight for a Heart of Iowa Conference doubleheader.
The Mustang girls are 7-1 on the season and are coming off a commanding 46-19 victory over Perry Tuesday night to stay undefeated in the conference. The PCM girls have been led in scoring so far this season by sophomore Tori Lindsay, who has 99 points so far on the season and junior Addison Steenhoek, who has 94. The PCM girls lone loss came in the first game of the year against Chariton, and they have now won seven straight. The Roland-Story girls are 6-0 on the season and are led in scoring by Matilde Motta who is averaging 15 points per game.
The Mustang boys are 4-3 and are coming off a 67-51 win over Perry Tuesday night to pick up their third conference win. The Mustangs have been led in scoring by junior Gavin Van Gorp, who has 99 points, and senior Jacob Wendt, who has 84. Senior Jack Jungling is currently second in Class 2A for rebounds with 29 and Wendt is right behind him on the list with 26. Roland-Story boys are 5-0 and are led in scoring by Jonovan Wilkinson who is averaging 25 points per game
