Pella wrestlers are hosting a mix of small-school and big-school competition at the Bill Van Horn Memorial Tournament Saturday, with the Dutch hosting Boone, Davis County, Des Moines North, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Knoxville, North Mahaska, Oskaloosa, and South Tama. The Pella Dutch home wrestling tournament has been named after Bill Van Horn for many years, a former Pella administrator inducted into Iowa Athletic Director Hall of Fame, and who passed away due to liver disease and cancer in 2012. Pella also holds the Bill Van Horn trophy as the current reigning all-sports Little Hawkeye Conference champions.
