Pella Christian Schools are in the process of integrating their school boards at the grade school and high school into one legal entity. 

Head of Schools Dan Zylstra was hired in part to bring the two schools together and he says that this process will help the schools better use their assets.

“The two schools operate together as one, but they still have to separate governing boards, and so we’re in the process of tying those two together to be more efficient with our resources.”

The two school boards have scheduled society votes that will take place on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024. Society members at Pella Christian Grade School will vote there, while members at Pella Christian High School will vote there. Society members at both schools will need to vote two times, once in each place for both societies. To merge the school boards, a 2/3rds majority of each society will need to vote yes for the integration.
