The Pleasantville girls wrestling team finished seventh overall at a home West Central Conference tournament Friday evening with all four of their wrestlers finishing in the top four. 

Ella Clark had a first place finish for the Trojan girls at 110 pounds while Madilyn Rowson finished second at 155 pounds. Maggie Gasparovich finished third at 140 pounds, and Bella Ashford placed fourth at 235 pounds. The Pleasantville girls scored 57 total points as a team. 

The Pleasantville boys wrestling team will be hosting the Trojan Duals today.

Along with the Trojans the duals will also feature Albia, Colfax-Mingo, Panorama, Van Meter, West Central Valley, and Williamsburg. The Pleasantville boys finished 3-0 at a quad hosted by Earlham Tuesday evening where the Trojans defeated Earlham 48-36, ACGC 54-27, and Central Decatur 67-9. Today’s Pleasantville Duals will start at 9:00 am.
