The Pleasantville boys wrestling team went 4-2 at the Pleasantville Duals on Saturday.
The Trojan boys defeated West Central Valley 48-36, Panorama 52-30, Colfax-Mingo 60-24, and Van Meter 51-24. Pleasantville’s two losses on the day came against Williamsburg where they fell 48-28, and Albia 42-32. Tommy Booth, Blake Rowson, and Caleb Cook all went 6-0 on the day. Pleasantville boys wrestling coach Heath DeForest tells KNIA/KRLS sports that as the day went on his guys’ fight got better. DeForest said he had a lot of guys battling at different weights doing great things for the team.
The Pleasantville boys wrestling team will be back in action on January 4th at Colfax-Mingo.
