The Indianola School Board reviewed the process for selecting a new superintendent last week. Board President Mack Rankin tells KNIA News the board will invite candidates to provide a video response to four separate questions, which will be reviewed on January 25th in closed session, and then determine six top candidates who move on to the next stage.

“Those interviews are tentatively planned between January 29th and February 3rd. Then the following week February 5-10th will be when we have our finalists interviews. And then hopefully be able to appoint that person in a meeting in February.”

Rankin said the board hopes to have reviewed all the applications and be ready to vote on February 15th.
