Caleb Hunt, a Patient Care Technician in the operating room at Pella Regional Health Center, was announced as the recipient of Pella Regional’s quarterly ROSE Award.
In an excerpt of Jenn Becker’s nomination for Hunt, she stated:
“Caleb was a huge help with our very emergent patient. He ran his butt off getting anything and everything we needed for that patient. He was running to the lab with all the tests they needed to do. He helped to get the ball rolling on getting Life Flight to us. I am sure he felt overwhelmed with it all but never showed it. He stayed very calm and collected throughout the whole process.”
The ROSE Award is a rewards program for Patient Care Technicians. ROSE is an acronym that stands for Recognition Of Service Excellence. Recipients of the ROSE award demonstrate excellence through their compassionate care, outstanding communication skills, and clinical expertise.
