The final meeting for the Pella School Board in 2023 was held Monday. The board approved a $284,526.08 furniture order for the Early Childhood Center, a builder’s risk insurance quote for the stadium project for $10,130 with Cincinnati Insurance Companies, a memorandum of understanding with Drake University for the Head Start program, and a contract and retirement language for the director of instruction. A work session followed to begin the superintendent evaluation process. An update regarding ongoing construction in the district is was also given by DCI, as were reports from district administrators.
