The Simpson women’s basketball team begins their run in the Cruzin Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida today, as they take on Methodist. The Storm are 4-5 to start the season and looking to get back on track after dropping their last two games, but will match up against good competition in the tournament including Gustavus who they played in the NCAA tournament in 2021. Junior guard Haley Rasmussen is off to a stellar start to the season, averaging 17.3 points per game and shooting 41% from three. Tip-off is at 3pm.
