The Melcher-Dallas Saints lost twice to Ankeny Christian on Tuesday with the girls falling 46-37 and the boys taking an 89-34 loss to the Eagles. In the girls game Addi Wadle scored 14 points while Gabby Overgaard scored seven points and pulled down seven rebounds. Coach Kelsey Goff told KNIA Sports her team’s shots did not fall and ACA’s did. Goff was proud of the effort and hopes to get another shot at Ankeny Christian in the conference tournament. The boys never got things going and suffered their most lopsided loss of the season. Both Melcher-Dallas squads will take the holidays off and get back to action January 2nd at Murray.
