Wrapping up competition for the 2023 calendar year tonight, the Pella Christian basketball teams host Newton in a Little Hawkeye Conference doubleheader.

Kicking off the twinbill this evening, both the Eagles and Cardinals girls squads are looking to get back in the win column. The Pella Christian girls, who have been off since last Thursday, have lost their last two games against Norwalk and Albia. Meanwhile, Newton hasn’t competed since last Friday and have lost their last three contests to Indianola, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Pella. 

In the nightcap of the doubleheader, the Eagle boys are looking to continue building on the momentum they gained from their win over Wilton on Saturday, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Pella Christian will do so against a Newton team that is 2-3 on the season and lost their last two games against DCG and Pella.
