With sports at Knoxville taking a week and a half off for the Christmas and New Years holidays all of the squads will get back to action in January. Just after the first of the year the Knoxville Basketball Squads will travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for two big South Central Conference games as both will likely be for 1st place or at least a share of 1st place in the SCC. Two days later the Knoxville Wrestling Squad heads to Eddyville for a quad with the Rockets, Albia and Cardinal. Knoxville is currently 7-3 in duals this season.
