The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams fell to Panorama Thursday night in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.
The Pleasantville girls had trouble mustering up much offense at all in the contest and fell to the #3 ranked Panthers 80-29 to fall to 4-5 on the season and 2-4 in the conference. Junior Joelle Johnson led the Trojans in scoring again on the night with 11 points. The Pleasantville boys dropped their contest to the Panthers 62-38 to drop to 2-5 on the season and 1-5 in the conference. The Trojan boys were led in scoring on the night by freshman Braylon Bingham who had 12 points. Pleasantville boys basketball coach Taylor Phipps tells KNIA/KRLS sports that Panorama played extremely tough defensively and although it was just an eight point game at half, his team was never able to make a run in the second half to close the gap.
The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action on January 2nd when they host Lynnville-Sully.
