A stretch of unseasonably warm conditions means those wanting to ice skate in Pella will likely have to wait until the new year to do so. The City of Pella has set up the rink at the Caldwell Park shelter house, which includes a 50 by 120 foot backer board system. City of Pella parks staff is waiting for temperatures to drop below freezing for several consecutive days — which is unlikely to occur until January. Updates, rules, and hours can be found here.
