The Knoxville Public Library will offer a life sized Candyland game starting today.
The game will be played in the library’s Weiler room for four days starting today through Saturday, December 30th during normal library hours. This is an opportunity for kids who are off from school or anyone in the community to play the popular board game in life sized fashion. Walk-ins are welcome but you may also call the library to reserve a time for you and your group. Knoxville Public Library Youth Services Librarian Holly Shelford says this game is back by popular demand.
“These life sized games have been going into the libraries for several years now. This spring was the first year we brought it to Knoxville Public Library and it was a huge turnout. We then had a lot of people say they missed it so we made a large setup and it’s great to have a few days in a row for people to play the game and we felt Christmas was a good time to bring this back.”
The Knoxville Public Library is located at 213 E Montgomery St.
