The Norwalk winter sports teams return to practice this week with an eye on the 2024 portion of the season. Following the holiday break, the Warrior basketball, bowling and wrestling teams will all return to competition during the first nine days of January.

The wrestlers will compete first on Thursday, January 4 – the boys traveling to the Marshalltown Quad at 5:30 and the girls team taking part in the Nevada Tournament at 6:00.

The Warrior bowling teams’ next competition is on Saturday, January 6 – a home dual against Bondurant-Farrar at Air Lanes in Des Moines. The meet starts at 9:00 a.m.

The Warrior basketball teams will return to action on Tuesday, January 9, for a girl-boy varsity doubleheader at Newton. The girls game will start at 6:15, followed by the boys game at 7:45.
