The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad is 3-3 as the Sabers hit the break. Twin Cedars hopes to work on improving the offense during the time away from games and Coach Mateo Varese tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he wants to start seeing offensive dominate games in January.

Varese: “I just want an offensive dominant game, and not rely on our defense so much. We knew we would likely have to do that early on but I want our offense to improve so we can work on our defense and do things we’re not really comfortable with.”

Holden Roberts is averaging 15.3 points per game and shooting 83% from the free throw line. Varese adds he hopes to see a different team in the new year, one that will score and not have to depend on defense so much. Twin Cedars will return to action on January 4th with a game against Tri-County.
