Warren County Health Services is recommending older adults receive the Pneumonia Vaccine, as they are at an enhanced risk to acquire pneumonia. Director Dr. Joelle Stolte tells KNIA News the CDC recommends anyone over the age of 65 to get the Pneumonia Vaccine, and you are more likely to get pneumonia if you smoke or have underlying medical conditions, like diabetes or heart disease.
