At winter break, the Pella Christian boys basketball team has four seniors that are among the leaders of different stat categories in Class 2A and in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

Isaiah Breems and Tysen De Vries are the two Eagle players that find themselves among the leaderboards in both the class and the league. Breems leads all players in the Little Hawkeye and in 2A in effective field goal percentage at 80.8%. Additionally, Breems is the conference leader in field goal percentage at 69.2% and that mark ranks third in Class 2A. De Vries ranks fourth among the class in three point percentage, knocking down 58.1% of his attempts, and that mark ranks second in the conference. De Vries is also tied for third in the Little Hawkeye in free throw percentage at 87.5%, and is tied for fourth in three pointers made per game with 2.6 and free throws made per game with three.

Making up the tie for third place in the league in free throw percentage is teammate Dane Geetings. Additionally, Geetings leads the conference in steals per contest with 2.4 and is fifth in the Little Hawkeye in field goal attempts per game with 12. Joining those three on the conference leaderboards is Caleb Van Arendonk. As a guard for Pella Christian, Van Arendonk leads the league in defensive rebounds per game with 5.3 and is second in total rebounds per game at 6.9.

At the break, the Eagles boys basketball team holds a 5-2 overall record and a 2-1 record in the conference. The Pella Christian boys return to the court on Friday, January 5th for a league doubleheader at Pella.
