The annual Panthers vs. Cancer event at Knoxville High School will be January 12th when the Panthers take on Clarke. It will be a bit different this year as the event for the first time in over a decade is back on a Friday night. The reason Girls basketball Coach Matt Ritchhart says is the scheduling of the South Central Conference. But he adds, the event will have all of the main happenings including a silent auction and the honor circle in between games.
Ritchhart: “The auction will be that day and we’re going to have cookies for sale, and a lot of shirts that we sold. The alumni games are on Saturday that next day and Tyler Pearson is the one to contact or you can get a hold of me for my wife Megan.”
Listen to 95.3 KNIA for the games and the honor ceremony in between the girls and boys contests.
