While the record is 0-10 on the season the Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball Squad is showing first year Coach Matt Bennett that they want to improve. Bennett started open gym earlier in the fall and was impressed with the turnout.

Bennett: “We were doing open gyms in the middle of football and volleyball season and I was having 25 kids show up, so I’m really impressed with the turnout.”

Bennett adds it goes to show that even though the season is not as successful as he thought it was, the guys are willing to put in the work.
