The PCM boys basketball team will resume regular competition on January 4th, and will scrimmage Lynnville-Sully today.

Today’s scrimmage at Lynnville-Sully will start at 10:30 am and will help the Mustang boys stay fresh before they host Montezuma on Thursday in their first game back after the winter break. The PCM boys basketball team sits at 5-5 through their first ten games and coach Tony Ford hopes his team can finish the season with a winning record.

“I would be lying if I didn’t tell you I wanted to finish with a winning season. Last year we were 8-15 and were at .500 now and there are a lot of tough games coming up. I think we can still end up with a winning season and those guys want that, I want that, and I think we all believe that can happen.”

Thursday’s game against Montezuma is the back end of a non-conference varsity doubleheader with the girls game starting at 6:00 pm and the boys game scheduled to tip off at 7:30.
