State Representative Brooke Boden has highlighted several priorities for the upcoming legislative session in January. Boden tells KNIA News one of her priorities is making sure the elderly care facilities in the state are operating to give the best care for those in need.

“Making sure those facilities are functioning at full capacity, that those residents are safe and doing well inside of there. We all know that our medical everywhere across the nation has taken a hit, so what does that look like and how can we make sure we aren’t sending tax dollars outside the state to make sure we are getting the care inside those facilities.”

Boden is serving on the Education, Ways and Means, Health and Human Resources, a budget subcommittee for Economic Development, and chairs the Government Oversight Committee for the upcoming session.
