The City of Indianola went through multiple major projects over the last several years, and with the completion of the major downtown square renovation and Hillcrest Ave, and the South K Street Project imminent, the city is back in the planning stages of what to do next. Mayor Stephanie Erickson tells KNIA News the city has a lot to consider on how to move forward.

“I think 2023 was our year of really strategically looking at the next few years. We will soon be publishing our strategic plan, and really starting to figure out who is Indianola, what does Indianola look like, and who do we want Indianola to be in the future.”
