The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad will not have to search for games to play when the Sabers get back to the court. Twin Cedars starts back on Thursday January 4th with a home game against Tri-County and then the very next night travel to Moravia, followed four days later by a trip to Southeast Warren, then hit a stretch when the Sabers play four games in eight days before the Bluegrass Conference Tournament starts. Coach Mateo Varese tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he has used the break to get better at things they need to improve on knowing there will not be a lot of days to practice.
Varese: “We’re going to use this time now to get better at things we need to improve on. I think it builds a ton of confidence playing those teams and I don’t think we’re going to be outmanned at all.”
