The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Tuesday, which includes swearing in returning council member Josh Rabe, and new council members Steve Armstrong and Melissa Sones.

The council will also consider referring a pair of items to the Planning and Zoning Commissions, a zoning code amendment request regarding allowable uses in the C-2 Highway Commercial Zoning District, and a resolution referring to rezoning for a portion of property generally at 2103 East 2nd Avenue.

Before the meeting, the council will meet in a work session to review the FY25 budget, and to go through orientation with legal counsel. The study session begins at 6pm in the council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
