Several businesses and offices are closed tomorrow to recognize New Year’s Day. All government offices will be closed, including departments in the courthouse and city hall. The Knoxville Library is also closed tomorrow along with the Knoxville Recreation Center. Most financial institutions and many retailers also are closed to recognize the holiday.
