The Iowa High School Speech Association’s district large group speech contests for local area high schools will be held later this month. Pella High School is one of the four district sites in southeast Iowa and will host Knoxville, Melcher-Dallas, PCM, Pella Christian, Pleasantville, and Twin Cedars. The speech teams at Carlisle, Indianola, Norwalk, and Southeast Warren will all compete at Clarke High School in Osceola. The registration deadline for the district large group speech contests is tomorrow, and the events will be held on Saturday, January 20th.
