The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday night.

The meeting started with a presentation given by district legal counsel representative Krity Latta to advise board members of ethics and guidelines, and there was then a presentation given by Allison Emery regarding professional development funds and allocations. The board then approved a proposal from Solution Tree for a teacher conference that will be held in June. The board also approved early retirement applications, a Randy Wilson Track fencing proposal, an at risk/dropout prevention application, and they set a public hearing for January 22nd regarding the 2024-2025 school calendar.
