The Indianola boys wrestling team defeated Pella in a Little Hawkeye Conference dual Thursday evening 47-18.
The Indians picked up wins by fall from Sawyer Nelson at 106lbs, Stoney Wood at 120lbs, Elijah Blewitt at 144lbs, Jake Pontier 150lbs, and Jaxson Boyd at 285lbs, while AJ Pontier at 157lbs and Dax Clatt at 175lbs earned wins by technical fall.
Pella got a win by fall from Damion Clark at 132lbs, and point scorers from Issac Treimer at 113lbs, Logan Bruxvoort at 165lbs, Jackson Van Kley at 190lbs, and Kieran Van Voorst at 215lbs. Indianola is next scheduled to wrestle tomorrow at Ankeny, while Pella is at Dallas Center-Grimes on January 18th.
