The 2024 grant season is now open for the Knoxville Community Foundation (KCF).
The KCF will be accepting applications for support from now until April 15th. Over its near 40-year history, the Foundation’s primary mission has been to invest in long-term, ‘brick-and-mortar’ community improvement projects that have a long-lasting, positive impact on the Knoxville community. Grant applications can be found online at www.knoxvilleheritage.org or at the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce office in Downtown Knoxville. Applicants should be a qualifying non-profit organization whose project aims to further improve the Knoxville community. Dylan Morse with the Knoxville Community Foundation says he is proud to have an organization like this in Knoxville.
“We’ve had this community foundation in place for quite a long time. Going back through the organization’s minutes and documentation, we were at one point the smallest community to have an organization of this size in the country. A really forward thinking group of folks back in the middle 80’s set this up, and we’re proud to be able to continue it today.”
