Two major winter storms have had kids out of class for the majority of this week, and while the flakes will stop falling soon, a blast of frigid wind chills could cause more disruptions to class time. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the current forecast of wind chills at 25 below zero and colder exceeds their typical policy for two-hour delays or cancelling classes on Tuesday (there is no school regardless on Monday). Ebeling says that while the actual cancellations for those days won’t occur until closer to the actual dates due to potential forecast changes, he stresses safety is the most important factor as it relates to potentially closing their doors. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS for the latest cancellations and delays.
