Due to the winter storms that came through south central Iowa this week, the Pella Christian winter sports teams have announced makeup dates and cancellations for multiple events. 

The Eagles home basketball doubleheader against Indianola that was originally scheduled to be played Friday, has been scheduled to be played Tuesday. Additionally, Pella Christian basketball doubleheader against Dallas Center-Grimes that was postponed from last Tuesday, will be made up on Thursday. Tuesday’s games against Indianola can be heard live on the KRLS2 stream and viewed on the Pella Christian YouTube channel, beginning with pregame coverage at 5:45 pm. The Eagles’ games against Dallas Center-Grimes on Thursday will be broadcast on 92.1 KRLS and can also be viewed on the Pella Christian YouTube channel, with pregame starting at 6 pm.

The winter storm also impacted the P.C. bowling teams’ schedules, as their contest Saturday against Norwalk was canceled. The Eagles bowling squads are now off until next Saturday when they compete against Oskaloosa at 9 am at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa.
