After losing well over a combined decade of experience at the varsity level to graduation last year, the Indianola boys basketball team has gone through not only a learning experience on the court but in practice. Head coach Jeff Ebling tells KNIA Sports the younger guys on the team are becoming more comfortable asking questions in practice, and are beginning to put their personality on the team.
“These younger guys, they have to be willing enough to come up to me and my staff and ask questions. Also as coaches, we need to understand that a lot of these guys are 14-15 years old. We have a few seniors, a lot of juniors, then the younger guys so there is a lot of inexperience. You have to take that into effect. You are going to see progression, we have seen progression.”
The Indians get back into action tonight against Pella Christian.
