The Pella Christian boys basketball team kicks off a busy week Monday, welcoming Pekin to Eagle Lane.

After having Friday night off due to the weather, the Eagles are looking to extend their winning streak to five straight games. In doing so, Pella Christian will face a Panthers team that has gone 3-2 over their last five contests. Over their last four games, the Eagles have won three of them by double digits against Knoxville, Newton, and Wilton; while also downing Pella in a five-point contest. Pekin’s three most recent wins came against Wapello, Louisa-Muscatine, and Lone Tree; with the two losses coming against Sigourney and WACO. Monday night’s contest is the first of four games this week for the Pella Christian boys, as two of last week’s postponed contests will be made up on Tuesday and Thursday.
