The year of 2023 included a massive transition for the Indianola Wellness Campus, going from the Indianola YMCA to under the administration of the City of Indianola. Executive Director Heather Hulen tells KNIA News membership was sustained when the campus switched from the YMCA to the city, and is now growing heading into the peak season.

“When we opened under the IWC in August, we had a total of 2,911 members. And at the end of December of 2023, we had 3,479 members. So our numbers have been climbing.”
