After dealing with several cancellations and postponements last week when two winter storms blew through the area, the Knoxville Sports Squads are hoping for a more normal week coming up. While the temperatures all week are predicted to be bitter cold, the precipitation chances fall greatly. The Panthers are set to begin the week with a trip to Bloomfield for a basketball double header at Davis County on Tuesday. Knoxville then heads to Chariton on Friday to wrap up the week of basketball competition. Bowling has rescheduled its meet with Sigourney that was snowed out to this Friday at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa. The Panthers return on Saturday to face Norwalk. Wrestling has all week off until Saturday when the Panthers head to I-35 for a meet. Tuesday and Friday night’s basketball games can be heard live on 95.3 KNIA. A reminder, the Panthers vs. Cancer night has been rescheduled to next Monday, while the games against Cardinal that were also postponed last week have been rescheduled to Monday January 29th.
