Pella Christian Schools are in the process of integrating their boards at the grade school and high school into one legal entity. 

The two school boards have scheduled society votes that will take place on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024. To merge the school boards, a 2/3rds majority of each society will need to vote yes for the integration. Ahead of the society vote on February 27th, Pella Christian Schools will hold formal presentations and forums to discuss the potential merger. The first presentation and forum will be held tomorrow at Newton Christian School at 7pm. Additional presentations and forums for the merger will be held at Sully Christian School on January 23rd, Peoria Christian School on January 25th, Pella Christian High School on January 29th, Pella Christian Grade School on January 30th, and Oskaloosa Christian School on February 1st. All presentations and forums are scheduled to begin at 7 pm. 

Beginning Monday, February 5th, society members can visit or call either the grade school and/or high school office and request an absentee ballot. Mailed ballots must be requested by February 12th and received by February 27th at 6:30pm. In-person voting will be held on Tuesday, February 27th from 4:00 to 6:30pm at the Pella Christian High School commons.

Society members at Pella Christian Grade School will vote at the grade school, while members at Pella Christian High School will vote at the high school. Society members at both schools will need to vote two times, once in each place for both societies.
