The organization responsible for promoting tourism to the City of Pella is launching its newest visitors’ guide this week. Visit Pella is hosting an open house this Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon to celebrate their 2024 edition. The organization known officially as the Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau is in an agreement with the Pella City Council to provide marketing to attract visitors to the community, receiving 60% of hotel-motel tax revenues on an annual basis. Visit Pella is responsible for organizing the annual Christmas Tour of Homes and Kerstmarkt Dutch Christmas market, and assists with promoting several community events throughout the year, primarily ahead of Tulip Time.
