UPDATE: The Pella Parks Department has announced the ice rink is open for use.

Ice skating could begin soon in the City of Pella. The community’s parks department has set up the rink at the Caldwell Park shelter house, which includes a 50 by 120 foot backer board system and has started to build ice this week as temperatures have allowed for quick freezing. The goal is to be open for skaters this Saturday. Updates, rules, details about skate rentals, and hours can be found here.
