The Iowa High School Speech Association’s district large group speech contests for local area high schools will be held on Saturday. Pella High School is one of the four district sites in southeast Iowa and will host Melcher-Dallas, PCM, Pella Christian, Pleasantville, and Twin Cedars. The speech teams at Carlisle, Norwalk, and Southeast Warren will all compete at Clarke High School in Osceola. The district large group speech competitions at both Pella and Clarke High Schools are scheduled to begin at 8:00 am.
